Adult Outpatient
Clinics
Our adult outpatient programs serve individuals 18 and older who have serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use conditions. The programs provide community-based, recovery-oriented, specialty behavioral health services that are integrated, strength-based, culturally competent, and trauma informed. Our staff partner with clients to develop goals, and we encourage clients to invite family and significant others to participate in the recovery plan.
Services include behavioral health and psychiatric evaluations, medication management, group and individual counseling, case management, care coordination, mobile outreach, and crisis intervention. Individuals may also
receive assistance with education and employment services.
The programs are funded by the County of San Diego, HHSA, Behavioral Health Services.
Eligibility Criteria
Individuals 18 years and older who meet criteria for Specialty Mental Health Services and the Target Population due to a serious mental illness, including those with co-occurring substance use conditions (COD).
Medi-Cal, Medi-Cal/Medicare dual insurance, Medi-Cal-eligible, or uninsured accepted. No one is denied services based on inability to pay.
Each Adult Outpatient program serves a region of San Diego County based on location and zip code in the Central, North Central, East, and South regions.
