CalWORKs Behavioral Health Centers
The CalWORKs Behavioral Health Centers provide outpatient behavioral health services to participants in the CalWORKs Welfare-to-Work program. These regionally located programs help remove behavioral health barriers to employment to help individuals and families gain self-sufficiency as they transition from the welfare system to gainful employment.
Services include behavioral health and psychiatric evaluations, medication management, group, individual and family counseling, case management, care coordination and crisis intervention. There is a strong emphasis on educational and employment services and preparation. The programs are funded by the County of San Diego, HHSA, Behavioral Health Services.
